The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance

More than 20 years ago, the energy efficiency community in Idaho, Montana, Washington and Oregon created the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA), based on a shared belief that together, we can accomplish far more than we can alone.

NEEA is now an alliance of more than 140 Northwest utilities and energy efficiency organizations working on behalf of more than 13 million energy consumers.

Through collaboration and pooling of resources, the region’s utilities and stakeholders have harnessed their collective influence to drive market adoption of energy efficiency products, services and practices. Mobilizing the market toward energy efficiency is the most cost-effective way to meet our future energy needs.

Since 1996, the region has cost-effectively delivered over 1,275 aMW of energy efficiency through market transformation - enough energy to power more than 900,000 homes each year.

NEEA has identified the key initiatives and programs that will deliver significant long-term savings. These are in the following sectors:

Emerging technology
Commercial
Residential
Codes & Standards
Industrial
Natural Gas
