The Austin Permaculture Guild Promotes Eco-Friendly Agriculture, Designs & Lifestyles

The Austin Permaculture Guild is an educational and networking platform that supports Austin's permaculture movement by encouraging sustainable improvements in all areas of life.

We offer permaculture design courses, permablitz workshops (creating edible gardens), and networking and connection opportunities for the eco-community (potlucks and gatherings). Plus, we host the Eco Fair at HOPE Farmer's Market every Spring.

What is Permaculture?

Permaculture is "a system of agricultural and social design principles centered around simulating or directly utilizing the patterns and features observed in natural ecosystems."

PERMACULTURE DESIGN COURSES

We hold a two-week intensive class for full immersion into the permaculture lifestyle each summer, as well as a 6 weekend format class that is ideal for those with a busy schedule.

ECO FAIR AT HOPE FARMER’S MARKET EVERY SPRING

Eco Fair is a platform for eco-conscious organizations in Austin. Hosting the Eco Fair creates a space for neworking, education for all ages, and encouragement for people to become involved in eco-organizations and the permaculture lifestyle.

VOLUNTEER FOR PERMABLITZ

Permablitz workshops are meant to reach out to the community by joining together skilled and like-minded volunteers to build public and residential perennial food gardens and forests.
