Green Cambridge works to create a more sustainable city and to protect the environment for the health and safety of all.

Our programs empower young people to become environmental leaders, restoring local ecosystems and advocating for a greener, healthier Cambridge.

We offer paid internships to build career pipelines that cover environmental science and justice, ecology, policy, community engagement, wetland restoration, arboriculture, and urban agriculture.

Founded in 2004 at a kitchen table by a group of passionate environmentalists, we advocate for a more socially connected and equitable present that works toward a climate-resilient future.

Using urban farms, urban forests, and our urban wilds, we connect people to the beauty of trees, the magic of growing, and the understanding of habitats for more equitable neighborhoods and connected communities.
