Sustainable Neighborhoods Denver – Support for Neighborhood Sustainability Efforts

Intended to encourage direct citizen action, "Sustainable Neighborhoods Denver" provides support and recognition to Denver neighborhoods where residents organize workshops, projects, and other events that improve livability while reducing ecological footprints.

Participating neighborhoods earn program credits for their efforts and may receive sustainable neighborhood designations, such as “Participating Sustainable Neighborhood” and “Outstanding Sustainable Neighborhood.”

The City of Denver also provides in-kind resources to participating neighborhoods, such as staff time to support projects and fees for printing, venues, and catering.

Throughout the year, Sustainable Neighborhoods Denver hosts Learning Communities where residents can learn more about the program and how to join.

The program sends out periodic announcements about application solicitations, program milestones, and City-wide events. Sign up for the newsletter: http://denvergov.us2.list-manage2.com/subscribe?u=b1adb25d97aecfd73d91cc...
