At All The Best, we understand that protecting our environment is one of the most important tasks at hand, so we are continually looking for ways to reduce our beloved fur friends’ carbon paw prints.

Reducing waste in our business

All stores:

accept clean, empty pet food bags eligible for recycling through these programs: TerraCycle, We Ru Cycle, How2Recycle, and Tag Back
use compostable bags for our bulk bars
provide paper bags made of recycled content
encourage customers to bring reusable bags
use compostable and biodegradable bags for treat samples
only print receipts when requested by customers
use BPA-free recyclable paper for receipts

All stores and business offices:

choose the most sustainable alternatives for every item we purchase whenever possible
compost waste when permitted by city programs
recycle every item permitted by our cities’ waste management programs
collect and recycle plastic
work toward maximizing energy efficiency in our buildings by choosing EnergyStar appliances and efficient HVAC systems

All The Best is switching to recyclable plastic for our own products

At All The Best Pet Care, we’re committed to offering more eco-friendly products for dogs and cats. We’ve switched to easily recyclable single-polymer plastic for our own products.

Recycle pet product bags at All The Best!

You can return all stretchy plastic pet food, treats, and litter bags from products purchased from our stores to All The Best. All bags must be clean and dry, please!

Weruva’s We-Ru-Cycle program

Weruva has its own recycling program. Wash and dry your Weruva product bags and return them to All The Best. We’ll send them back to Weruva for you.

Open Farm and Nulo TerraCycle pet food packaging recycling

Look for the TerraCycle symbol on Nulo Challenger and Open Farm bags. These clean, empty pet food bags can be returned to All The Best, and we’ll return them to be recycled.

Recycle Elasti Tag bands at All The Best

Dog chews with recyclable ElastiTagsElasti Tag bands similar to those used on All The Best’s Kathmandu Chews are recyclable using the Tag Back program. The tags are ground up and made into plastic lumber. Feel free to leave these tags with us at the register; we’ll take care of the rest!

Giving back

Our company stays true to its mission to improve animal welfare and our communities at large. Over the last year, All The Best Pet Care has donated more than $400,000 in funds and supplies to organizations in our community.

In addition to financial contributions, we have held multiple matching food drives for local rescues resulting in thousands of pounds of top-quality food for animals awaiting adoption. We’ve donated similar amounts of pet food and supplies to our local food banks. We are in awe of what our local outreach partners achieve through their efforts and are committed to continuing to support them in their missions.
