Confluence Environmental Center

Confluence Environmental Center's mission is to bring together streams of thought, action and people to make the environmental movement more robust, inclusive and effective.

Our AmeriCorps Program advances environmental justice by creating greater access to resource conservation initiatives, healthy watersheds, gardens and farms, parks and greenspaces, healthy homes and livable communities. We do this by building unique partnerships with community-based organizations, schools and government agencies who also value racial equity and social justice. Confluence AmeriCorps members are selected and placed within these organizations to lead and support various conservation projects that build leadership while increasing the organization’s ability to empower racially, culturally and socioeconomically diverse populations.

Our Fellows Program helps small emerging environmental organizations build organizational capacity, expand leadership, and engage low-income communities and/or communities of color in conservation efforts. We provide various services based on the needs of the organization, such as training's, joint fundraising, consulting, and AmeriCorps members.
