Keep Austin Beautiful - projects and services for an earth-friendly Austin

Keep Austin Beautiful, an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, provides resources and education to help citizens build a more beautiful and earth-friendly Austin. We welcome hearing from anyone, or any group, who shares these interests.

We do ecological clean-ups and restoration, street and creek adoptions, beautification and recycling resources, and youth engagement and education.

SOME OF OUR OFFERINGS:

Clean Lady Bird Lake - Volunteer every other month on Lady Bird Lake's shorelines and waterways to keep our lake clean.

Lake Travis Cleanup - The biggest annual scuba diving and shoreline cleanup in Texas!

Generation Zero - Engages youth in fun hands-on activities and service projects that raise awareness about recycling, composting, and conservation.

Green Teens - Engages students in weekly activities to explore the outdoors, learn the truth about trash, and discover what's in our water.

Adopt-a-Creek - “Adopt” a ¼ mile of an Austin creek for a minimum of 2 years and make a positive impact on our local waterways.

Community Cleanups - We can help plan your cleanup, provide supplies, and coordinate trash collection.

Event Recycling - Enjoy free recycling containers and flutter flags to raise the visibility of recycling at your event.
