Austin Organic Gardeners – Austin's Club for Organic Gardeners

~ GARDENING IN HARMONY WITH NATURE ~

Since 1945, our members have shared information about successfully raising vegetables and ornamentals without using harsh fertilizers that harm soil and toxic pesticides that disturb ecological balance. We meet the second Monday of each month (except December) at the Zilker Botanical Gardens.

In addition to an educational presentation, there is a question-and-answer session and plenty of informative conversation.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

The club's philosophy is that human and animal health depends on the health of the soil that produces our food. Healthy soil, which is rich in organic matter, abounds with organisms that convert minerals in the soil into forms plants can use.

We always have great speakers at our meetings. You can become a member, and visitors are welcome!
