Austin’s Cool House Tour – Showcasing Eco Homes and Sustainability Programs every June

The Cool House Tour is an annual self-guided tour that showcases homes that are designed and built to high standards of energy efficiency, comfort and regional design. It's a fun resource for learning how to live comfortably in the hot Central Texas climate.

The selected projects cover a wealth of styles and sizes. Visit the homes in any order you wish.

Homeowners and building professionals will be available to share their experience with you on bringing these sustainable homes to fruition. Austin Energy and City of Austin departments will be at two of the tour stops showcasing energy saving and sustainability programs.
