The Powell Foundation provides grants for conservation

* Supporting public education, the arts, conservation, and health in Harris, Travis and Walker counties since 1967 *

As Texas’ urban areas continue to grow at a rapid rate, it has become imperative to maintain a healthy and sustainable environment and provide a high quality of life for residents by setting aside and/or improving our outdoor spaces. That's why The Powell Foundation provides grants that emphasize the different ecosystems and needs of each locale we support, as well as the education of youth so that they will become good stewards of the environment.

TO APPLY FOR A GRANT

Visit the Foundation’s online application homepage to begin the application process. A Foundation staff member will review each request and conduct the necessary due diligence.

Some of our conservation grants have supported Barton Springs Conservancy, Hill Country Conservancy, Travis Audubon Society and The National Wildlife Federation.

ABOUT

The purpose of The Powell Foundation is to distribute funds for public charitable purposes, principally for support, encouragement and assistance to public education, the arts, conservation and health with a direct impact within the Foundation's geographic zone of interest: Harris, Travis and Walker Counties, Texas.
