Sprout City Farms – Teaching and Feeding People Right Here in the City

Sprout City Farms offers programs designed to meet the food access and farm education needs of the Denver and Lakewood communities we serve. With your help, we create thriving local food systems for healthy, resilient communities.

WHAT WE DO

Internships and Apprenticeships
The SCF internship and apprenticeship program helps aspiring farmers and those interested in the food system acquire the skills needed for urban agriculture.

Feeding People
All people have a right to healthy, fresh, naturally grown food. We offer a variety of programs designed to meet every level of need and to ensure that the communities surrounding our farms are well nourished.

Community Education
SCF offers a wide range of education opportunities to encourage environmental stewardship and enable people to better feed themselves and their families.

Youth Programs
Using farms as classrooms, students of all ages learn hands-on about growing, harvesting and cooking food; caring for the environment; and working collaboratively.

Community Supported Agriculture
Our three Denver Metro farms provide CSA shares to subscribers.

VOLUNTEER

We host regular weekly volunteer days on our farms, as well as special volunteer events. We also need volunteers for translations, marketing, event planning and fundraising.
