The Denver Permaculture Design Course: Training for an ecological future

Permaculture is a revolutionary design science that applies nature’s patterns to human structures, and the Denver Permaculture Guild’s Permaculture Design Course trains changemakers in its theory and practice. Through an engaging mix of lectures, hands-on group activities, and real-world design projects, participants gain a comprehensive understanding of ecological thinking and how to apply it in a variety of contexts.

The Denver Permaculture Design Course is recommended for design professionals, urban farmers, community organizers, foodies, city planners, green entrepreneurs, homeowners, and anybody seeking a comprehensive framework for sustainable change.

All Permaculture Design Courses are based on a standard, internationally recognized 72-hour curriculum. The Denver PDC incorporates and expands on that curriculum, with a total of over 100 hours of hands-on activities, lectures, design exercises and dynamic guest speakers.

In particular, the Denver PDC emphasizes urban permaculture, Colorado-specific strategies, and social justice as compared to the standard curriculum.
