Find Local Garden Plots, Start New Community Gardens... with Denver Urban Gardens
Through Denver Urban Gardens (DUG), you can join an existing community garden, start a community garden, receive growing assistance, volunteer, and participate in other events.
Our network includes over 170 urban gardens and farms in the Metro Denver Area. It's easy to join:
1. Find a community garden close to you: https://dug.org/find-a-garden/
2. Contact DUG with the name of the garden(s) you are interested in. We can let you know if there’s space available, and provide contact information for the volunteer garden leader.
DUG also helps to create about 20 new community gardens each year. To start, request a "New Community Garden Information Packet": https://dug.org/request-a-new-community-garden-info-packet
Our "Grow a Garden" program ensures that in-need individuals, families, seniors, and groups have access to the necessary seeds, seedlings and education to grow a successful, productive vegetable garden.

You can also volunteer at DeLaney Community Farm. It's an excellent way to learn more and support issues related to refugees, food access, community development, and sustainable agriculture.
