Community Garden Plots in Highlands Ranch

If you enjoy being outdoors in the sunshine, getting your hands dirty, and watching Mother Nature at work, The Metro District of Highlands Ranch has three organic community gardens that may be a fit for you.

The gardens have amended soil, a water source, and a fenced area to grow your favorite flowers and vegetables between May 1 and October 30 of each year.

Please contact us for more information about community gardens in Highlands Ranch or to be placed on a waiting list. The waiting list for garden plots starts January 1 of each year, and plots are allocated after March 1.

Individual gardeners pay a small seasonal fee: $50 for residents and $58 for nonresidents.

Organizations such as schools, churches and other non-profit agencies wishing to garden for the purpose of enhancing education and/or donating crops to food banks may be granted a garden plot at no charge.
