The Urban Farm - learn sustainable agriculture, equestrianism, spinning and more

At The Urban Farm at Stapleton, there is a little bit of “country” for every age and inclination. We inspire excitement for learning through practical work experience in a farm setting that fosters respect, responsibility, curiosity, caring and grit in kids and parents alike.

Where else can a kid learn firsthand about sustainable agriculture and animal husbandry or how to spin wool without leaving the comforts of Denver? How about experiencing the connection of horse and rider or the warmth of a freshly-laid egg?

Our gardening options have expanded with leasing options, opportunities to join a garden co-op, and gardening classes. For children and adults, you’re sure to find a program that will fit your gardening needs.

Our Equestrian program provides youths ages 5-18 the opportunity to learn horsemanship and riding skills without the expense of leasing or owning a horse.

Plus, anyone ages 5 to 18 can join our 4-H club year-round.

Join a program at The Urban Farm at Stapleton to become part of a diverse learning community where the values of respect for people, animals, plants, and the environment are developed and strengthened.
