The CLEO Institute supports climate action
The CLEO Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to climate change education, engagement, and advocacy. We highlight the urgency of climate action and impact policy, championing solutions for a resilient future. Our Mission is to promote an informed and engaged public that supports climate action locally, regionally, nationally, and globally.
CLEO is working with Miami-Dade County to facilitate our Community Outreach Project. As part of our educational mission, we offer climate trainings on global warming and its impact on South Florida, Earth’s climate and its current status, steps we can take to reduce carbon footprint and many other topics
.
We created Women&Girls Empowering program, speakers and teachers network and various government and business partnerships. We are educating teachers and school administrators to include climate education into their curriculum, and we are partnering with businesses and municipalities to integrate climate action in their sustainability planning.
