Volunteer on an Organic farm, via WWOOF!

Want to live and learn on an organic farm? Want to share your life with other like-minded people?

WWOOF is a worldwide movement linking volunteers with organic farmers and growers to promote cultural and educational experiences based on trust and non-monetary exchange, thereby helping to build a sustainable, global community.

As a volunteer (or WWOOFer as we call them) you will live alongside your host helping with daily tasks and experiencing life as a farmer.

(And organic farmers can host volunteers! Open your home to receive visitors from your own country or abroad who want to connect with the land and support the organic movement.)

The WWOOF-USA Host Farm Directory lists 2,302 organic farms and gardens across the country. Any farm, community or garden project using organic methods that would like to participate in a cultural and educational exchange may join the program.

The program is open to anyone 18 years of age or older, regardless of experience. We encourage all types of WWOOFers and hosts who would like to work together to strengthen sustainable agriculture to be a part of WWOOF-USA.
