Solar United Neighbors -- a national organization representing solar owners and supporters

Solar United Neighbors is a national organization helping people go solar, join together, and fight for their energy rights since 2007.

Our Vision: We envision a clean, equitable energy system that directs control and benefits back to local communities, with solar on every roof and money in every pocket.

Our Mission: We’re building a new energy system with rooftop solar at the cornerstone.

We come from all walks of life. We’re from urban centers, small towns, farms, and everywhere in between. We’re young couples and retirees, small business owners and farmers. We’re conservative and liberal, and sometimes fiercely independent.

But solar isn’t political – more than 90% of Americans agree that solar is something we should all get behind. Solar appeals to us for many different reasons: savings on electricity bills, energy independence, self-sufficiency, climate change, or the simple fact that we’re not crazy about our utility companies.

Our work on issues like solar incentives, grid reform, community solar, net metering, vehicles and rural cooperatives.

We don’t care why you like solar, you're in good company here!

We're a 501(c)3 non-profit.
