We are the San Diego County Democrats for Environmental Action

We've been promoting sound environmental policy, leadership, and responsibility in the San Diego County Democratic Party since 2014.

From transit to renewable energy to climate change, clean beaches and waterways to open space, transparency of our regulatory agencies and ensuring environmental justice to defending our public lands, SDCDEA serves as a clearinghouse for environmental and conservation issues in San Diego County and throughout Southern California.

The club fosters interest in the Democratic Party, greater support and adherence to the California Democratic Party's environmental platform, provides a constructive role for volunteers in Democratic politics, promotes an activist base, and assists and enables Democratic candidates to run – and win – on environmental principles.

We also provide a forum to meet and interact with environmentalists, conservationists, advocates, and members of the public at regular club meetings and events.
