Green Action

national

The Intertwine Alliance is a coalition of 150+ public, private and nonprofit organizations working to integrate nature more deeply into the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan region.

Our projects include work with access trails, forestry, conservation, clean water, waste management, greening schoolyards, education and more.

Have an idea for a project but need partners to collaborate with? Pitch it on our website! Or contact Tara Wilkinson at tara@theintertwine.org.

Our Mission: Empowering MA residents, government, and business leaders to keep our communities clean and beautiful.

We believe that litter, illegal dumpsites, graffiti, and vacant lots not only hurt property values and discourage economic development, but they also reduce a community’s collective self-esteem. Litter begets litter and blight begets blight.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. Residents can take ownership of the appearance of their communities. That’s where Keep Massachusetts Beautiful can help.

Greenheart International connects people and planet to create global leaders through personal development, volunteer service, environmentalism, fair trade, and cultural exchange.

Conservation Colorado is at the front lines of every fight working to protect the air, land, water, and people of Colorado by advocating for necessary policies, mobilizing Coloradans, and electing conservation-minded policymakers.

Despite powerful interests who are constantly pushing to put pollution and profit over public health, we have a long and accomplished history of working collectively at the State Capitol, establishing strategic partnerships, and collaborating with allies for success on key environmental concerns, including:

We address today’s most urgent environmental challenges by targeting issues that affect people around the world.

Our key initiatives:

Climate: Turn the corner on emissions
We’re focused on the solutions that will have the biggest impact, such as removing obsolete rules that hamper the clean energy market in the U.S.

Oceans: Expand sustainable fishing worldwide
We’re catalyzing reforms to make sustainable fishing the norm in 12 key nations that account for 62% of the global fish catch.

The Oregon League of Conservation Voters is a non-partisan organization with a simple mission: To pass laws that protect Oregon’s environmental legacy, elect pro-environment candidates to office, and hold all of our elected officials accountable.

OLCV believes that to truly protect Oregon’s natural legacy, we can’t afford to ignore politics. And that the quality of our kids’ and grandkids’ futures depend on our active and engaged citizenship today.
