“350 South Florida” is affiliated with 350.org, a non-profit that is building a global movement to solve the climate crisis. Growing stronger daily, the 350 family is active in 188 countries. This movement thinks and acts globally.

The CLEO Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to climate change education, engagement, and advocacy. We highlight the urgency of climate action and impact policy, championing solutions for a resilient future. Our Mission is to promote an informed and engaged public that supports climate action locally, regionally, nationally, and globally.

Green America is a national, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, membership organization founded in 1982. Our mission is to harness economic power—the strength of consumers, investors, businesses, and the marketplace—to create a socially just and environmentally sustainable society.

What Makes Green America Unique

VolunteerCleanup helps volunteers clean up their neighborhoods, shorelines, and waterways.

Wouldn't it be great if there was a platform where people could BUILD TEAMS, communicate with each other, and ORGANIZE their OWN CLEANUP EVENTS?

How about a place where someone could find a LOCAL CLEANUP and volunteer a couple hours of time?

Or a place where students or businesses could organize their people to clean up a section of their neighborhood - whether in the WATER, on the COASTLINE, or on LAND.

SDUSC was created to address Southeast San Diego’s lack of representation in important discussions of sustainability, as well as to enhance local opportunities to enter the green job economy.

Today, we exist to bring together communities of concern, stakeholders and like-minded organizations through grassroots organizing to inform processes and policy, to improve the quality of life and to increase opportunities for residents of Southeast San Diego and other resilient communities.

Miami Waterkeeper’s mission is to defend, protect, and preserve South Florida’s watershed through citizen engagement and community action rooted in sound science and research. We work to ensure swimmable, drinkable, fishable water for all.

Our scope of work is diverse, with core issues including clean water, ecosystem protection, and resiliency. Serving our population of more than 4.5 million people across Miami-Dade and Broward counties, Miami Waterkeeper’s approach combines education and outreach, scientific research, advocacy, and when necessary, legal action.

Established in 1969, Northwest Environmental Advocates works through advocacy and education to use federal environmental laws to protect and restore water quality and habitat in the Northwest and nationwide.

NWEA uses a mix of approaches — including negotiation, litigation, education, community organizing, and advocacy — to obtain the best outcome for people and the environment:

Greenovate Boston is the City's community-wide initiative to engage all Bostonians in helping the City meet its climate and sustainability goals, while continuing to make Boston a thriving, healthy, and innovative city.

By laying out the necessary steps to reduce the causes of and to prepare for climate change, Boston's Climate Action Plan gives Greenovate Boston a framework for building a greener, healthier, and more prosperous city.
