Green Action

For 25 years, Southeast Environmental Task Force has been dedicated to promoting environmental education, pollution prevention, and sustainable development in the southeast side and south suburbs of Chicago.

We call on local elected officials, community leaders and business partners to be educated on the fundamentals of environmental justice and advocate for sustainable development in our community.

We are involved in monitoring and restoring our natural areas.

As Waterway Helpers, we are involved in the waterways that flow into Lake Michigan.

The Miami Group of The Sierra Club

Our mission is to enjoy and protect the natural places in South Florida, to teach others to understand and respect the fragile environment in which we live, and to practice and promote the responsible use of South Florida's ecosystems and resources.

The fight to save Earth is never over. There are always new projects and proposals that threaten the delicate balance of nature.

The Charles River Conservancy is dedicated to the stewardship, renewal, and enhancement of the urban parklands along the Charles River.

The Conservancy promotes the active use and vitality of the parklands, increases recreational and cultural opportunities, and works to ensure the beauty and integrity of this extraordinary public resource.

Reclaiming Land, Raising Future Farmers

We work with our community partners to secure land in the city for growing food. Imagine the positive impact of converting abandoned city lots into thriving green farms. That is City Grower’s vision.

City Growers is contributing to the new green economy in communities where economic revitalization is needed most. In the coming years, we will create a checkerboard of productive green space in Boston’s inner city where local growing talent thrives.
