Advocates for Urban Agriculture

Advocates for Urban Agriculture (AUA) is a coalition of individuals, organizations and businesses working to support and expand sustainable agriculture in the Chicago area, from home- and community-based growing to market gardens and small farms.

The group meets quarterly and maintains an array of working groups dedicated to pursuing AUA’s mission through advocacy, outreach and resource sharing, with AUA’s Board of Directors acting as its governing body.

Common Earth Community Garden offers gardening plots for rent to the community, provides a source of wholesome food to local food banks, provides nutritional and cultural education for youth, and is a place of fellowship for multigenerational families on this shared common earth.

If you are interested in gardening with Common Earth Community Garden, please contact us through our website or send us an email.

It's $50 per plot and plots are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. If there are no plots currently available, you can have your name added to our wait list.

At Urban Patchwork, we work with thousands of neighbors throughout Austin to map edible trees and turn under-utilized private and public space into productive urban gardens and farms, educational spaces, and activity centers.

Through this, we strengthen and beautify our communities, expand our food system’s reach, and reduce the environmental impact of landscaping and agriculture.

Resolution Gardens is a full-service Austin landscaping company with a special focus on growing food. Our services include refurbishing existing gardens, raised-bed garden kits, design and construction of edible landscapes and traditional victory gardens.

~ WE WANT TO HELP YOU GROW FOOD ~

As passionate believers in the health benefits of home-based food growing for our bodies, the environment and our local economy, half of our work is devoted to helping our neighbors grow their own food.

Little River Cooperative

Little River Cooperative is a multifaceted plant-based business designed to provide Miami with a number of gardening and vegetable services.

We offer locals a unique CSA (community supported agriculture) with all produce coming from local small farms, a nursery at which one can buy all they need for starting their own backyard organic garden, and garden consultation, installation, and maintenance services.

Urban Oasis Project is a local food promoter and information source operating in Miami-Dade since 2008. We believe that good, clean, healthy food should be accessible to all.

We're present at farmers markets, plant gardens with low-income families, and support many local farms by bringing their produce to markets.

We also run potluck meals focusing on local food, "farmer-direct" dinners, arts events and more.

Farm Yard CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is an urban farming adventure in the heart of Denver, primarily in Washington Park. Our produce is grown using organic methods on a collection of front- and back-yard plots owned by local residents.

SUSTAINABLE LOCAL FOOD FOR DENVER

Our CSA provides fresh vegetables that travel few miles from the ground to your table. It’s a feasible way to bring much needed change to the conventional food production and distribution system that has been too ineffective and too wasteful for too long.
